Women in Trades

EarnLearn helps women enter into trade careers

How does EarnLearn
help women in trades?

Breaking Barriers

Women bring valuable skills, creativity, and problem-solving to the trades. With only a small percentage of women currently represented, there’s huge potential to grow diversity and challenge stereotypes in industries traditionally dominated by men.

Opportunities for Growth

Trades offer secure, well-paid, and rewarding careers. From plumbing to electrical, EarnLearn provides women in trades with a pathway that leads to financial independence, hands-on work, and long-term stability.

Supportive Networks

Through events, ambassadors, and industry partnerships and our supportive network of Account Managers, EarnLearn aims to build communities where women can connect, share stories, and succeed. These networks empower more women to thrive and inspire the next generation.

“If you’re a young woman considering a trade like this, don’t let the fact it’s a male-dominated or quite physical put you off.”

Owner and Operations Manager, Wynne Electrical

“As a society we are starting to move towards not having specific roles for different genders. You’re seeing a lot more women turn up in places where generally it’s a male dominated industry, which is fantastic.”

Ways we
support women

We host get-togethers where women from different trades can connect, share experiences, and build supportive networks.

Our ambassadors visit schools and speak at events, inspiring young women by sharing their personal journeys in the trades.

We partner with ITOs and industry groups to promote women in trades, celebrate success stories, and create opportunities across the sector.
