Scaffolding

• New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding Level 3 (General)
• New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding Level 3 (Proprietary Suspended)
• New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding Level 4
• New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding Level 5

Check you meet the entry requirements and that all unit standards are on your NZQA Record of Learning. Without these, we cannot issue a Certificate for you.

Get your employer to complete the Employer Attestation Form:

• Employer Attestation Form – Scaffolding Level 3 General
• Employer Attestation Form – Scaffolding Level 3 Proprietary Suspended
• Employer Attestation Form – Scaffolding Level 4
• Employer Attestation Form – Scaffolding Level 5

• Check whether you meet all the requirements of the qualification under the Certificate only process.
• Identify any gaps in your training.

When all the requirements are met, you can complete the required assessment task with your selected organisation.

  • Tai Poutini Polytechnic (TPP) (0800 800 411)
  • SARNZ (04 583 8081)

Applicants with less than two years of work experience must take the one-week practical and theory capstone assessment at TPP.

Applicants with two years or more work experience (practical builds) may have the option of taking a practical and/or theory capstone assessment task with SARNZ. See requirement for each level of qualification below:

• Level 3: two-years work experience
• Level 4: three-years work experience
• Level 5: five-years work experience.

On successful completion of your assessment task, the organisation will give you a letter to confirm your achievement.

You are now ready to submit your application to EarnLearn for the Certificate Only process. You will need to complete and submit the below to EarnLearn via registrations@waiouru.earnlearn-tepukenga.ac.nz

1. Training agreement
2. Application form for Certificate award
3. Portfolio of evidence including:
   • Record of Achievement – that show you have met all the entry requirements and the unit standards within the qualification
   • Letter from the organisation to confirm you have completed the capstone assessment task
   • Employer Attestation forms
4. Payment.

Upon successfully submitting your application, you will be sent an email containing a link to pay the application fee via credit card.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit/debit. Please note, you may request an invoice for your records.
